Unfortunately, our experience with Adrianne Gessner was incredibly disappointing and stressful—especially as first-time homebuyers who expected support and guidance throughout this important process.From the beginning, communication was poor. Rather than helping us actively search for a home, she signed us up for an automated system that continuously sent listings with incorrect parameters, despite multiple requests to fix them. The home we ultimately purchased was one we found ourselves through Zillow—not through her efforts.Throughout the process, Adrianne consistently failed to clearly explain things to us, often giving us premature “no’s” before even consulting with the sellers or their agents—many of which later turned into “yes’s” when we advocated for ourselves. She asked us to trust her, but that trust nearly led to us being double charged on her agent fee. The contract stated the fee was negotiable, yet when the seller declined to pay the full amount, she and her broker tried to force us to pay the difference until we pushed back.Key tasks like requesting HOA documents, arranging full access to the property, and ensuring the inspection was thorough were either missed or had to be prompted by us. Even after finding damage during our final walk-through, Adrianne dismissed our concerns instead of advocating for us. She downplayed a cracked window we had photo evidence of and advised us to just “eat the cost” or accept half the value.Post-sale, there was no follow-up, no welcome gesture, and not even a full set of keys provided—we had to change the locks ourselves. One of the agreed-upon window repairs wasn’t completed, and when we reached out, we received no response. So much for “reach out anytime.”In the end, we feel we did more work than our agent, learned more out of necessity, and experienced more stress than we should have. We wouldn’t recommend Adrianne’s services, not even to our worst enemy. While we hope she reflects on this experience, we sincerely wish she receives exactly what she gives to her clients.
Adrianne was amazing, She had such a chill personality and she went above and beyond for us. She would always answer the phone even if it was late at night. When we had issues she always helped us right away. I would highly recommend her.
